Altamont - Mr. John Willie Lockhart, 83, of Murfressboro, Tennessee passed away at his home Thursday January 10, 2013. He was born in Altamont, Tennessee on May 9, 1929 to Allen and Octa Whitman Lockhart who preceded him in death along with his brothers, C.B. "Kink" and George "Buck" Lockhart; sister, Charity Norris. He is survived by his wife, Margaret McCutcheon Lockhart; daughters, Karen Myers and Kathy Davis of Murfreesboro; sons, Keith (Gail) Lockhart, Marietta, GA, Kenneth (Kelly) Lockhart, Murfreesboro and Karl (Myra) Lockhart of Randolph, AL; sisters, Geneva "Sister" Campbell, Stella Sennens Turner and Veola Hiett; brothers, Andy (Blondell) Lockhart; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Altamont Cemetery.
