Obituary of Willie Dee Meeks

Palmer - Mr. Willie Dee Meeks, 76, passed away Friday January 11, 2013. He was the owner operator of Meeks Service Station in Gruetli-Laager locally known as the "Pentegon". He was a member of the Collins Church of Christ. He was born in Palmer on March 27, 1936 to Elihugh and Alma Jean Meeks who preceded him in death along with his sister, Shirley Joyce Meeks. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Layne Meeks; daughter, Teresa (Richard) Layne; sons, Jimmy (Debbie) Meeks, Anthony Meeks and Rick (Laura) Meeks; sisters, Carol Long and Wilma Condra; grandchildren, Kyra (Billy) Campbell, Brandon Layne, Deanna Meeks, Hayden Meeks and Morgan Meeks; step-grandchildren, Shelbi (Labron) Graham, Colby and KayLee Newsom; great grandchildren, Destiny Campbell and Brevin Layne. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Nathan Sanders and Phillip Fults officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery.
