PALMER - Fannie Clair Layne, 93, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013. She was born November 10, 1919 to Isier and Frances Malinda Bowman Layne who preceded her in death along with her brothers, Albert "Alb" Layne and Gilliam Layne; sisters, Vernie Shrum, Alice McDaniel, Lillie Doss, Ethel Adams and Rosie Doss; daughter, Opal Layne. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be 4:00 PM Wednesday in the Griffiths Creek Cemetery. Arrangements by Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
