Altamont - Mrs. Anna Bell Odom, 78 passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday morning February 12, 2013. She was a member of the Laager Congregational Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Matthew and Virginia Louise Smartt King, husband, Dewey "Joe" Odom; sons, Raven and Sam Childress; sister, Johnnie Rexford. She is survived by her daughters, Anna Sue "Susie" (David) Trussell and Marsha (Neal) Caldwell; sons, Roger Chaffee, Danny (Robin) Odom, Wade (Twana) Odom and Eddie Odom; sisters, Hope (Late Jimmy) Cox, Linda (Late Steve) Roberts, Pam (Rex) Stone and Reba (Charlie) Freeman; brothers, F.M. (Late Eva) King, Alfred Earl (Wilma) King and Harold (Doris) King; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a host of loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Jacob Anderson officiating with burial to follow in the Altamont Cemetery.
