Obituary of Goldie Lee Miller

Coalmont, Tennessee – Mrs. Goldie Lee Miller, 85, passed away Saturday October 2, 2021, at her home.  She was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on December 24, 1935, to Lee Meeks and Mollie Pearl Brown Meeks who preceded her in death along with her husband, Marvin Miller; son, Mark Miller; sisters, Genevea Allen, Betty Jo Parks, Margaret Respess and Ethel Sweeton; grandson, Ethan Miller.

She was a member of the Coalmont United Methodist Church.  She worked at Dupont and operated a clothing store in Tracy City called the Casual Corner.

She is survived by her son, Terry Miller; grandchildren, Tyler (April) Miller, Tiffany (B.J.) Winton; great grandsons, Adam Davis, Liam Winton, and Cole Gill; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Clayton Jones officiating with burial to follow in the Coalmont Cemetery.

Visitation: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM Monday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
