Obituary of Annetta Turner

Palmer, Tennessee – Mrs. Annetta “Nana” Turner, 70, passed away Sunday March 6, 2022 unexpectedly at the STRHS-Sewanee Hospital.  She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on May 16, 1951 to Werner and Annie Layne Layman who preceded her in death along with her son, Roy Lee Turner; granddaughter, Alicia Layman; brothers, Ralph, Hurl, Gene and Everett Layman; sisters, Jeanetta Scroggins, Odell Childers, Ann Underhill and Geneva Conry.

She is survived by her husband, Ernie Lee Turner; sons, Robert (Melissa) Turner and Roland Chad Turner; daughter, Andrea Turner (Billy Layman); sister, Helen Sanders; brother, Millard (Betty) Layman; grandchildren, Ashley   Nichole Turner, Desiree and Felicia Layman; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Brett Meeks officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery.

Visitation: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
