Gruetli-Laager - Mary Sue Ross, 76, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday morning, June 10, 2010 with her family at her side. She was born in Rocky River, TN on October 20, 1933 to Rev. Bill and Hassie Cope DeLong who preceded her in death along with her husband of 59 years, Rev. Charles O. "Cotton" Ross; brother, Wayne DeLong. She was a "Preachers Wife" being a member of the Laager Congregational Methodist Church, which her husband pastored for many years. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Weaver and Sharon (Anthony "Big Boy") Griffith; sons, Rev. Bill (Gail) Ross and Anthony (Elizabeth) Ross; grandchildren, Michael (Keilli) Ross, Michelle (Davy) Fenton, Stephanie (Matt) Garrett, Josh, Kristen and Isaac Ross; great-grandchildren, Cierra "CC", Austin, Carter, Danielle, Levi, Evie Gail, Olivia and Gabriel; sisters, Patsy Rowland and Jean Mohler; brother, Ross DeLong. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill Ross officiating with burial to follow in the Griffiths Creek Cemetery. Visitation after 5:00 PM till 10:00 PM Friday, 9:00 AM till 10:00 PM Saturday and 9:00 AM till time of service Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN
