Obituary of Bessie Faye Payne

Bridgeport, AL - Mrs. Bessie Faye Payne, 70, died Friday October 15, 2010. She was born in Stevenson, AL to Will and Jamima Prickett who preceded her in death along with her brother, John Billy Prickett, Sr. She was a member of the Church of Christ at Bridgeport and a teacher at Wonderland Kindergarten. She is survived by her husband, Paul E. "Pud" Payne Sr.; sons, Paul E. (Della) Payne, Bridgeport and Wade (Tracy) Payne, Loganville, GA; several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday at the Bridgeport Chapel of Rudder Funeral Home with Roger Comstock and Danny Rader officiating with burial to follow in the Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee. Visitation after 5:00 PM Saturday at Rudder Funeral Home, Bridgeport, AL. Layne Funeral Home is assisting with Rudder Funeral Home.
