Palmer - Clara Elizabeth Rogers, 93, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2010. She was a member of the Palmer Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Hoyt and Nannie Watts Tate; husband, William Maurice Rogers; infant daughters, Mary and Marie Rogers; sister, Virginia Sissom. She is survived by her son, William Hoyt (Terry) Rogers, Harrison, TN; daughters, Linda (Allen) Morrison and Jane (Donnie) Sherman; grandchildren, Tony, Robin, Celeste, Adam, Matthew, Colby, Amanda, Brandy and Carrie; 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Bob Ruehling and John Henry Coffelt officiating. Interment: Palmer City Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.
