Obituary of James Harold Lockhart

Whitwell - James Harold Lockhart, 72, of the Griffiths Creek Community, died Thursday, November 04, 2010 at his home. He was a member of the OPEIU Local 917 at Chattanooga. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force. He was born in Palmer on April 25, 1938 to William and Veola O'Neal Lockhart who preceded him in death along with his daughter, Brenda Lee Olters; brother, Randall Lockhart; sister, Dorothy Marie Lockhart. He is survived by his wife, Cecilia Lockhart; sons, James (Renita) Bill and David (Melanie) Lockhart; brothers, Bobby, Roger, Lowell (Dorothy) and Jerry Lockhart; step-sisters, Carol Stampfli and Janie (Bobby) Layne; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday from the graveside at Griffiths Creek Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation after 5:00 PM Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.
