Palmer - Dorthy Carol Morrison, 70, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at her home. She was born in Whitwell on October 16, 1940 to Turner and Kate Harveston Privett who preceded her in death along with her son, Robert Lee Morrison; sister, Betty Jo Campbell; brothers, Wilburn Lee, George Herman and Herchal Gene Privett. She is survived by her husband, Martin Charles Morrison; son, Larry (Kathy) Morrison; 2 grandchildren, Jamie Dion Morrison and Natasha Michelle Anderson; 5 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Elaine (Wendell) Higgins. Visitation: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN. At her request cremation was chosen as final disposition.
