Obituary of Elaine Pearl Erickson

Coalmont - Elaine Pearl Erickson, 89, of the Cumberland Heights Community of Grundy County, passed away on Saturday, July 09, 2011 at her home. She was born April 06, 1922 in LaMoille, MN the second daughter of Harold and Ellen Lee. She enjoyed gardening and growing fruit and vegetables, which she did most of her life. She loved living in the country, both in Minnesota and Tennessee. She worked in several hospitals and loved caring for others. She was a Seventh-day Adventist and loved the Lord very much. She looked forward to His second coming with much anticipation. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Dorothy Lee. She is survived by her husband, Roger Thomas Erickson; daughter, Sherry Thomas of Monroe, OH; son, Richard Erickson of Collegedale, TN; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Jonathan and Julie; 3 great-grandchildren. She was buried in a private graveside service on Sunday, July 10, 2011. Arrangements by Layne Funeral Home, Inc., Palmer, TN.
