GRUETLI-LAAGER - James Matthew "Matt" Ruehling, 17, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from injuries he received in a accident. He was born in Chattanooga on August 17, 1995. He was a senior student at Grundy County High School and was a junior member of the Palmer Volunteer Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Ruehling. He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Kelly Ruehling; brother, Joshua Blake Ruehling; grandparents, Marvlee Ruehling, Barry Griswold and Sandra (Roy) Sain; girlfriend, Breigh Payne; a host of other loving family members and special friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Tyler McCullough officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
