Palmer - Mrs. Betty Ruth Doss, 74, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012. She attended Bibleway Holiness Church and was born in Palmer on July 30, 1938 to Oscar and Elveda Rollins King who preceded her in death along with her husband, Robert Doss Sr.; son, Robert Doss Jr.; sisters, Rosie King and Margie Layne. She is survived by her daughter, Clara Doss; son, Jerry Wayne "Red" (Patty) Doss; sister, Alfa Gay King; brother, Randal (Gail) King; grandchildren, Zaven, Pazilan, Haivenly and Zaylin; several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral Home chapel with Minister Jeremy Robinson officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery. Visitation: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
