Obituary of Dola Clarene Scissom

Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee – Mrs. Dola Clarene Scissom, 91, passed away Wednesday July 22, 2020 at her home.  She was born in Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee on July 6, 1929 to Harley and Bessie Brady Tate who preceded her in death along with her husband, Roy Dale Scissom; son, Charles L. “Skipper” Sweeton; sister, Laverene Ables; brother, Harley Cleveland Tate.

She is survived by her sons, Alec (Late Kathy) Scissom, Ronnie (Teresa) Scissom and Rickey (Connie) Scissom; daughters, Sandra Rankin and Patricia (Kelly Layne) Haddock; 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchild; nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday July 24, 2020 at the Fall Creek Cemetery with Minister Darrell Nance officiating.
