Obituary of Gene Coppinger

Altamont, Tennessee – Mr. Gene Coppinger, 69, died Monday July 27, 2020 at the STRHS-Sewanee Hospital.  He was born in Altamont, Tennessee on February 2, 1951 to Bobby and Julie Myers Coppinger who preceded him in death along with his brothers Millard and William Myers; sisters, Georgia Lee Pack and Infant Annie Lee Myers.

He was retired from B & P Lamp Company in McMinnville and attended the Little Creek Baptist Church at Altamont.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Scott Coppinger; brother, Charles (Wilma) Coppinger; sisters, Mannie Frances Myers, Julie Mae Elledge   and Oma Lee Hobbs; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Funeral services were held Tuesday July 29, 2020 at the Fults Cemetery with the family and close friends.
