Obituary of Paul Douglas Brown

Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee – Mr. Paul Douglas “Tree” Brown, 49, died Saturday September 19, 2020 in a tragic automobile accident near Irving College, Tennessee.  He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on April 13, 1971 to Paul David and Ida Pearl Johnson Brown who preceded him in death along with his uncle, James Brown.

He worked at Gentry Steel in Chattanooga until his health declined.

He is survived by his wife, LeAnn Carpenter Brown; daughter, Laurel Brown; step-daughter, Hasleigh Hamilton; step-son, Ian Hamilton; sisters, Cheryl (Danny) White, Kathleen (Mike) Moore and Rebecca Sullivan; grandchildren, Peyton Cox who he was daddy to and Greyson Christian; nieces, Traci Crabtree and Kaite Berry.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Jonathon Graham and Chad Smith officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery.  Visitation: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
