Obituary of Carol Lee Long

 Palmer, Tennessee – Mrs. Carol Lee Long, 78, passed away Wednesday September 30, 2020 at her home in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on August 22, 1942 to Elihugh and Alma Jean Givens Meeks who preceded her in death along with her husband, Theodore Lindley Long Jr; daughter, Melinda C. “Lindy” Layne; brother, Willie D. Meeks; sister, Shirley Meeks.

 

She was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Cleveland, Tennessee.

 

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Morrison and Tonyia (Ronnie) Davis; sister, Wilma J. Condra; grandchildren, Terra Levan, Chelsea Morrison, Logan and Tenley Davis; Shania Shrum, Teddy Layne and Cameron “Bo” Thomas; great grandson, Carter Levan; several loving neices and nephews.

 

Graveside funeral servics will be 1:00 PM Saturday at the Palmer Cemetery with Eddie Birdwell officiating.
