Obituary of Scottie Dewayne Tate

Palmer, Tennessee – Mr. Scottie Dewayne Tate, 48, had his life cut short way to soon Saturday November 21, 2020 in Palmer, Tennessee.  He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on April 21, 1972.

He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Christine Land Tate; great grandmother Nell Land; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Buford Tate and Ruby Henry.

He is survived by his father, Richard Tate; daughters, Courtney (Bo Rymer) Tate and Tori Tate; son, Scott Tate; sisters, Kathy Burch and Kim (David) Northcutt; grandchildren, Makinly and Addison; several nieces and nephews, Josh (Meagen) Sells, Felicia (Jeremiah) Curtis, Casey (Sarah) Sells, Whitney (Cody Nunley) Northcutt and Austin Burch; several great nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday at the Fall Creek Cemetery with Minister George Sells officiating. Arrangements by Layne Funeral Homer, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
