Obituary of Lola Bell Weir

 Altamont, Tennessee – Mrs. Lola Bell Weir, 95, passed away Friday December 4, 2020 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  She was born in Pikeville, Tennessee on February 7, 1925 to William Lester Norris and Grace Lois King Norris who preceded her in death along with her husband, Thomas J. “Tom” Weir; sister, Virginia “Chick” Farless; brothers, Lester, Lesley,  Eugene and William C. “Kip” Norris.

 

She was a member of the Gospel Light Baptist Church in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.  She was very active in the Beersheba Springs  and Altamont Communities before moving to South Pittsburg to live with her daughter.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Zeedyk; brother, Billy (Betty) Norris; granddaughter, Marisa Talley; grandson, Thomas “T.J.” (Samantha) Coffman; 5 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
