Obituary of Elsie Dykes

Palmer, Tennessee – Mrs. Elsie W. Dykes, 93, died peacefully Tuesday January 26, 2021 at the Sheltering Arms Home in Palmer, Tennessee. She was born in Holly Bush, South Wales, United Kingdom to Daniel Williams and Charlotte Jeffries who preceded her in death along with her sister, Cissy Milton; brothers, Tommy, Leslie, Percy, Jackie and Don Williams; husband, Robert Dykes; daughter, Rose Morgan; grandchildren, Sonya Summers, Michael Todd Hitchcock and Johnnie Michelle Dishroon.

She is survived by her sons, Don (Mary) Dykes, David (Kathy) Dykes and Danny (Amy) Dykes; daughters, Leean (Johnny) Dishroon and Teressa Hitchcock; 15 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

Private Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday with the family in the funeral home chapel with Minister John Potts and family Brent Walker and Shannon Scruggs  officiating with Public burial to follow in the Brown’s Chapel Cemetery.
