Obituary of Paulette Meeks

Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee – Mrs. Paulette Meeks, 72, passed away Monday February 15, 2021 at the Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.  She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on October 22, 1948 to Loys and Pauline Sanders Johnson who preceded her in death along with her brother, Larry “Petey” Johnson; brother-in-law, Don Fitch.

She was a member of the Palmer Church of God. 

She is survived by her sons, Donnie (Jennifer) Meeks and Christopher Meeks; daughter, Rhonda Meeks Jones; brothers, Ronnie (Lucy) Johnson and Mike (Sherry) Johnson; sisters, Connie Smith, Ann Fitch (Mark) Meeks and Bobbie (Benny) Grimes; grandchildren, Justin and Colton Meeks, Angel, Hannah and Michael Schild, Dalton Ingram and Jory Scissom; great grandchildren, Jade and Jace Meeks; several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services for family and close friends will be held 2:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Bill Smith officiating with burial to follow in the Orange Hill Cemetery.
