Obituary of Diane M Mayes

Winchester, Tennessee – Mrs. Diane Mayes, 63, passed away Tuesday February 16, 2021 at the Harton Hospital in Tullahoma, Tennessee.  She was born in Winchester, Tennessee on April 10, 1957 to Fred and Marlee Meeks of Pelham, Tennessee who preceded her in death.

 

Diane will be remembered for her love and giving to others anyway she could. She especially loved her grandchildren, they gave her so  much joy in life.

 

She is survived by her husband, Billy Mayes; son, Jason (Lakin) Childers; daughter, Brittany Anderson; step-daughter, Lenzi Mayes; step-son, William Mayes; brother, Leon (Mary Lee Counts) Meeks; sister, Joanne (Terry) Childers; grandchildren, Karlee, Kaylee, Ceanna, Hillary, Bralon, Maleigha (Isaiah), Kyngzleigh, Addison and Tristin; great grandchildren, Asher, Mason and Paislee; several nieces and nephews.

 

Due to Covid-19 there will be no public service at this time.

 

A graveside service for the immediate family will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at the Winton Cemetery in Pelham, Tennessee.

 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to help with funeral expenses.
