Obituary of Ida Ellen Layne

Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee – Mrs. Ida Ellen Layne, 38, passed away Sunday February 14, 2021 unexpectedly at her home.  She was born in Sewanee, Tennessee on April 19, 1982.

She was a Pharmacy Tech and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ida Ellen Caldwell, Johnny Caldwell and James Elbert Cantrell.

She is survived by her husband, Jason Layne; son, Jacob Layne; daughter, Ava Layne; mother, Lisa Cantrell (Robby Terry); father, Herbertt (Tammy) Cantrell; sister, Samantha (Glenn) Kirk; step-brother, James Cecil Henley; grandmother, Judy (Sam) McBee; nieces, Alazae Long, Desiray and Kirsten Layne; nephews, Brian Goehler and Adrian Layne; mother and father-in-law, Joyce and Brad Layne; brothers-in-law, Bradley (Christie) Layne and Adam Layne.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Sunday at the Fall Creek Cemetery with Minster Glen Kirk officiating.
