Obituary of Patricia Ann McKenzie

Altamont, Tennessee – Mrs. Patricia Ann McKenzie, 67, passed away Thursday April 20, 2021 unexpectedly at her home in the Skymont Community.  She was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on December 20, 1953 to Delbert and Gracie Higgins Hobbs who preceded her in death along with her grandson, Glenndon James Savage; brother, Ronnie Dale Hobbs; sister, Debbie Hobbs Blakley.

 

Patricia was a homemaker and attended the Liberty Independent Baptist Church.

 

She is survived by her husband, Larry McKenzie; son, Larry Dale (Amy) McKenzie; daughters, Stephanie (Jamie) Savage, Laura McKenzie (Jimmy Webb) and Heather (John) Meeks; sister, Lillian Dickey; brothers, Rickey Hobbs and Dwayne (Lisa) Dodson; grandchildren, Anne Marie, McKenzie, Matthew, Tonya, Johnathan (Cassidy), Lysa, Preston, Dianna, Dakota, Kaden, Colton, Kaleb and Easten; great grandchildren, Izabella and Izaiah; several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Coy King and Melvin Childers officiating with burial to follow in the AirView Cemetery.  Visitation 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
