Obituary of Judy Walker

Altamont, Tennessee – Mrs. Jewell Dean “Judy” Walker , 71, passed away Tuesday April 27, 2021 at her home.  She was born in Altamont, Tennessee on October 21, 1949 to Charles Jefferson Walker and Lillian Smartt who preceded her in death along with her son, Thomas Jeffery Hanner; sisters, Jean Hobbs, Lucinda Tate, Shirley Campbell, Mana Walker Fults and Ruth Tate; brothers, Charles, Jimmy, Billy and Clarence Sidney Walker.

She is survived by her sons, Jimmy D. (Angela) Hanner and Scotty L. (Ella) Hanner; brother, Dwight Walker; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Mack Hampton officiating with burial to follow in the Walker Cemetery. Visitation 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Wednesday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
