Obituary of Huston Wade Nolan

Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee – Mr. Huston Wade Nolan, 75, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday June 8, 2021 at the STRHS-Sewanee Hospital.  He was born in Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee on January 4, 1946 to John Jerome Nolan and Gladys Tennessee Pickett Nolan who preceded him in death along with his brothers, James, Dalton, Clyde and Harvey Nolan; sister, Mildred Perry.

 

Huston was a member of the Bivens Chapel Congregational Methodist Church.  He was a retired coalminer and mechanic.

 

He is survived by his wife, Nadine Shrum Nolan; daughter, Wanda Hobbs; son, Wade (Shannon) Nolan; brothers, Frank, Bobby (Nancy), Linda (Randy) Waters and Ronnie (Janice) Nolan; grandchildren, Chrisie (Matt) Morrison, Jackie Johnson and Bradley Garrett Nolan; 9 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Larry Campbell officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery.
