Obituary of Betty Christine Patterson

Dewy Rose, Georgia – Mrs. Betty Christine Patterson, 77, passed away Tuesday August 17, 2021, at her home.  She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on May 25, 1944, to Hubert and Gladys Davis Henry who preceded her in death along with her sisters, Retha Jacks and Elizabeth Privett.

She had worked in the restaurant business most of her life and was of the Church of God faith.

She is survived by her husband, Austin Patterson; sons, Terry (Jody) Henry, Iowa, Stevie Henry, Hartwell, Georgia, and Ricky (Jennifer) Patterson, Delaware; daughters, Cindy Biggs, Hartwell, Star (George) Meadows, Monteagle, Tennessee and Fawn (Greg) Parson, Tracy City, Tennessee; brothers, Hobart (Willie Mae) Henry, Larry (Debbie) Henry and Jackie (Norma) Henry; sister, Bonnie (Butch) Meeks; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Alex Rollins officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery.

Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
