Obituary of Carol Olive Allen

Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee – Ms. Carol O. Allen, 62, passed away Wednesday September 1, 2021, from complications of covid 19 at the Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on December 11, 1958, to John Henry McBee and Nellie Irene Layne McBee who preceded her in death along with her daughter, Courtney Rebeccah Allen; brother, Gary McBee.

Carol taught school in Grundy County for several years.

She is survived by her son, Daven (Melissa) McBee; daughter, Danielle Ryder; brothers, James Henry McBee and Charlie (Angela) McBee; 7 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Cary Gomer officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery.

Visitation: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
