Obituary of Lillie Carlyon Fults

Altamont, Tennessee – Mrs. Lillie Carlyon Fults, 78, passed away Saturday September 11, 2021, at the Waters of Winchester Nursing Home.  She was born in Irving College, Tennessee on September 14, 1942, to Clarence Bates and Etna Pearl Scott Bates who preceded her in death along with her husband, Fred A. Fults Sr.; sisters, Barbara Ellen Gillentine and Christine Wimley; brothers, Eddie and Clifford Bates; daughter-in-law, Melissa Fults.

She was a member of the Church of Christ at Altamont and was active in the FCC Ladies group.

She is survived by her sons, Fred A. Fults Jr. and Robert Edward (Felicia) Fults; daughter, Brenda (Steve) Anderson; grandchildren, Amanda, Jared, Jacob (Chrissy), Sonia, Robby and Randy; great grandchildren, Easton Leyendecker and Grayson Anderson; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. David Dickerson officiating with burial to follow in the Mount Zion Cemetery near Viola.

Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee.
