Obituary of Billy Joe King

Palmer, Tennessee – Mr. Billy Joe King, 67, passed away Friday September 17, 2021, at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.  Hew was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on May 23, 1954, to Walter King and Bessie Lee Partin King who preceded him in death along with his son, Joe Brandy King; brother, Steve King; nephew, Shane King.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sandy King; son, Joshua (Laciey) King; daughters, Felisha King (Rodney Griffith) and Kyra King; brother, Mike Pemberton; sister, Stacy Pemberton; grandchildren, Nick (Sheena) Shrum, Sierra (Ethan King) Kilgore, Destinee and Rave Borne, Sebastian King, Alyssa McBee, Able Joe Tate, Jayden and Bella Shrum; great granddaughter, Kaislee King.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Browns Chapel Cemetery,

Visitation:  3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
