Obituary of Audra Jewel Curtis
Palmer, Tennessee – Mrs Jewel Curtis, 85, passed away Wednesday September 22, 2021 at the Sheltering Arms Home in Palmer, Tennessee. She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on October 26, 1935 to Walter and Dona Cagle Brewer who preceded her in death along with her husband, Jimmy Curtis; sisters, Bessie Bryant, Willette Birdwell, Ethel Birdwell, Grace Farris, Leona Creighton and Amy Lou Weaver; brothers, Grady and Clifford “Buck” Brewer.
She is survived by her daughter, Deedra Tate; granddaughter, Bailey Brown; sister, Tressie Mae Cleek; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Friday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Larry Campbell officiating with burial to follow in the Browns Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
