Obituary of Katie Mae McDaniel

 Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee – Mrs. Katie Mae McDaniel, 85, passed away Thursday September 23, 2021, at the Erlanger Sequatchie Emergency Room.  She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on May 1, 1936, to Louie and Mazie Graham Campbell who preceded her in death along with her sons, Dexter, and Eddie McDaniel; brothers, Kenley, Ralph Eugene, Tom, Buford and Roger Campbell; sister, Bertha Potts.

She is survived by her husband, Ocsar Howell McDaniel; sons, Mike (Darlene), Desi (Brenda) and Johnny McDaniel; daughters, Scarlett   Caldwell and Darlene (Ricky) Nunley; brother, Jim Campbell; sisters, Lucille (Chester) Scissom, Gertrude Curtis, JoAnn Kenner and Diane (Roy) Shrum; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Bobby Winton and Jimbo Campbell officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery.
