Obituary of Brenda Lee Hickey

 Smithville, Tennessee – Mrs. Brenda Lee Hickey, 61, passed away Wednesday November 17, 2021 at the Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee after a long battle with cancer.  She was born in New Castle, Indiana on November 10, 1960 to Jerry Donald Yokley and Virginia Faye Cleek Yokley who preceded her in death along with her brother, Wayne Yokley.

 

She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Hickey; sons, Ronnie Wayne and Coby Scissom; daughter, Deonna (Gentry) Lowry; 6 grandchildren, Ryelynn, Zayden, Grayson, Caiden, Kaylee and Mahayla.

 

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Jacob Anderson officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery.

 

Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
