Obituary of Louann Mary Dishroon

Madison, Alabama – Mrs. Louann Mary Dishroon, 76, passed away Tuesday November 30, 2021 at her home in Madison, Alabama.  She was born in Elgin, Illinois on January 8, 1945 to Oscar Lloyd Farmer and Marilyn Margaret Shields Farmer who preceded her in death along with her husband, Jim Dishroon; grandchildren, Justin and Dustin Dishroon; brothers, Hank and Richard Farmer.

She lived in the Griffiths Creek Community for many years before moving to Madison. She was a licensed beautician, painter, and a homemaker.

She is survived by her sons, Doug (Joan) Dishroon and Steve Dishroon both of Huntsville, Alabama; daughters, Tracey (Lewis) Martin, Madison, Alabama and Susie (Tommy) Weaver, Powells Crossroads, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jimmy, Reagen, Seth, Aaron, Tiffany, Thomas and Matthew; great grandchildren, Lucy, Charleigh Sue and Annie; special niece, Jill Farmer; several other loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers, John Potts and Lewis Martin officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery.

Visitation: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
