Obituary of Carolyn Ann Anderson

Palmer, Tennessee – Mrs. Carolyn Ann Anderson, 77, passed away Friday August 19, 2022, at her home with her family at her bedside.  She was born in Nauvoo, Alabama on March 10, 1945, to Manuel H. Wideman and Margaret E. Andrews Blaylock who preceded her in death along with her daughter, Victoria Atterton; sons, Gary, and Carl Anderson; brothers, Horace, and Bill Wideman; sister, Carma Nell Sanders.

She attended the Barkers Cove Community Church before her health declined. 

She is survived by her husband, Howell Edward Anderson; daughters, Kim (Jeff) Steele, Karen Roberts and Audrey Anderson; half-brother, Kevin Wideman; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Darrell Nance Officiating with burial to follow in the Brown’s Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
