Obituary of Elsie Lorrine McDaniel

GRUETLI-LAAGER - Miss Elsie Lorrine McDaniel, 73, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 at STRHS- Winchester. Elsia loved flowers, going to church, taking pictures and collecting many different things. She also enjoyed cooking and canning. Elsie was a faithful member of Barkers Cove Community Church.

 

She was born October 1, 1948 to Leila Gertrude McDaniel Tate who preceded her in death along with her brother, Oscar Howell McDaniel; sisters, Mildred Phillips and Willie Wooten.

 

She is survived by her brothers, Johnny, Jerry and Don (Shirley) McDaniel; several nieces and nephews; special church family and neighbors that loved her dearly.

 

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Chad Smith officiating with burial to follow in the Griffith's Creek Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN
