Obituary of Mamilene McGee

Beersheba Springs, Tennessee – Mrs. Mamilene McGee, 88, passed away Thursday September 8, 2022, at her home.  She was born in Warren County on June 1, 1934, to Marcus Woodlee and Mamie Woodlee who preceded her in death along with her husband, Waymon McGee; grandsons, Chase McGee and Kyle Chisam McGee; brothers, Greg Smartt, her twin Marcus “Budge”, Perry, and Buford Woodlee; sisters, Johnnie Sue Paris and Carmen Cagle.

She was a member of the Church of Christ at Altamont and worked at the Cumberland Heights Hospital and Colonial Shirt Factory.

She is survived by her sons, Doug and Danny (Patricia) McGee; grandchildren, Michael (Melissa) McGee and Kristin Griffith; 6 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brothers, Brown Woodlee and Robin (Diane) Smartt; sisters, Sarah Frances Woodlee, Geraldine Killian, Pansey (Leon) Christian, Nona Martin and Nelma Chilton; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday at the Fults Cemetery with Minister Gary Childers officiating.

Visitation: 9:00 AM – 10:30 Friday at the Altamont Church of Christ.
