Obituary of Frankie Barks

Beersheba Springs, Tennessee – Mr. James Franklin “Frankie” Barks, 66, passed away Monday November 28, 2022 at his home.  He was born in Cumberland Heights on December 12, 1956 to James Edward Barks and Euphemia Lorene King Barks who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Phillip and Darrell Barks.

He is survived by his brothers, Matthew (Patricia), Melvin, Donald, Johnnie (Shannon), Gerald (Candy) and Danny Barks; sisters, Michelle Tucker and Carolyn (John) Kulback; sisters-in-law, Roxanne and Melissa Barks; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Clayton Jones officiating with burial to follow in the Darrell Barks Cemetery.

Visitation: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee.
