Obituary of Kristina Kaye Johnson

Altamont, Tennessee – Mrs. Kristina Kaye Johnson, 57, passed away March 9, 2023 at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  She was born in Atlantic, Iowa on August 29, 1965.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Irmgard Klein Johnson; son, Daniel Joseph Johnson; brother, James Kenneth Johnson.

Kristina was a caregiver, Mama and Gram to many.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Johnson; daughter, Emi Johnson; father, James Edward (Donna) Johnson; brothers, Johnny (Shelly) and Steven Johnson; sister, Irene (Ray) Johnson Duvall; grandchildren, Payslee, Preslee and Piersyn; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Friday March 17, 2023, in the funeral home chapel with Minister Delbert Layne officiating.

Visitation: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
