Obituary of Henrietta Tucker

Palmer, Tennessee – Mrs.  Henrietta Nunley Tucker, 85, of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, passed away Friday April 28, 2023, at the Memorial Hospital in Hixson, Tennessee.

She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on January 18, 1938, to Stanley Nunley and Henri Marie Worley Nunley who preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and had attended the Mile Straight Baptist Church before her health declined. Due to several years of dementia she went to live with her daughter Lora and her husband Hal so they could care for her. Her grandson Carson was devoted to her care and she loved him the most.

She is survived by her daughter, Lora (Hal) McPherson; grandson, Carson Green; father of her daughter, Carl Tate; cousin, Anthony (Rose) Nunley; several cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held Sunday April 30, 2023, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM CDT in the parlors of Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee
