Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee – Mrs. Alma Lee Anderson, 71, passed away Monday July 3, 2023, at the STRHS-Winchester Hospital. She was born in Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee on August 11, 1951, to William Bivens and Mae Arlene Brown Bivens who preceded her in death along with her sister, Willene Knowlan; brothers, Donald and Charles Bivens.
She is survived by her sons, Martin Layne and Steven Anderson; daughters, Lisa Layne and Peggy (Charley) Borne; brother, Mark Bivens; sisters, Mary Thomas, Darlene Sanders and Joyce Layne; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held 6:00 PM Monday July 3, 2023, at the Fall Creek Cemetery with Minister Charles Thomas officiating.
