Obituary of Hazel Mae Thomas

 Gruetli-Laager – Mrs. Hazel Mae Thomas, 79, passed away, Tuesday July 3, 2018 at the Bridge in Monteagle. She was born in Warren County on September 16, 1938 to Warner Turner Sr. and Jessie R. McCormick Turner who preceded her in death along with her husband, Mack W. Thomas; son, Danny Thomas; brother, Warner Jr. “Man” Turner; sister, Anita Hill.

She had worked at the Altamont Shirt Factory and had her own business making curtains at her home.

She is survived by her son, Billy Mack and wife Sue Thomas; sister, Shirley Fitch; brothers, Johnny and Bob Turner; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Larry Campbell officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
