Obituary of Jeffery Thomas Cox

 Palmer, Tennessee – Mr. Jeffery Thomas Cox, 62, passed away Saturday September 15, 2018 at the home of his caregiver Joan Hobbs.  He was born in Welch, West Virginia on July 16, 1956.  He was preceded in death by his father, William Paul Cox; mother, Mildred Tate Yarworth; step-father, Denver Yarworth; brothers, William Lanny, James Wayne and Paul Edward Cox.

He is survived by his daughters, Bridgett Ladawn and Brittany Danyel Cox; sister, Sandra (Robert) Harris; brothers, Hardy, Chris and Joe Cox and William Michael Newman; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Matthew Meeks and Stev  e Nance officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Monday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
