Obituary of Vanessa Kay Forsyth

 Beersheba Springs, Tennessee – Mrs. Vanessa Kay Forsyth, 53, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 at Erlanger Hosptial in Chattanooga.  She was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on September 5, 1965 to George Earl Green and Carrie Louise King Green who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Roy G. Forsyth Jr.; son, Noah (Kendra Richardson) Forsyth; daughter, Sarah (Aaron Catchings) Forsyth; brothers, Dale (Brenda) Green and Kellsie (Viola) Green; sisters, Emma Dean Byars and Edna (Ralph) Crim; adopted sister, Wendy Craven; grandchildren, Justin and Jasper Forsyth and River Catchings; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Donnie Cox and her brother Kellsie Green officiating with burial to follow in the Philadelphia Cemetery. Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
