Obituary of Earl Anthony Wockasen

Altamont, Tennessee – Mr. Earl Anthony Wockasen, 77, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday November 28, 2018 at the St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  He was born in  Lackawanna, New York on October 14, 1941 to Earl W. and Anna M. Pinto Wockasen who preceded him in death along with his daughter, Tammy Brown.

He was a US Army veteran and a small engine mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Earline Parker Wockasen; sons, Tony (Tonya) Wockasen, Monteagle, TN, David and Daniel Wockasen of Altamont; daughers, Jena (David) Willebrandt, Brockton, NY and Kristy (Glenn) Southerland, Clarksville, TN; sisters, Anna Geidel, Debbie Ruebensaal and Earlene Kurek; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Johnny Gross officiating with burial to follow in the Airview Cemetery with military honors. Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
