Obituary of Walter Earl Ondrizek

Coalmont - Mr. Walter Earl Ondrizek, 92, of the Cumberland Heights Community passed away at his home Wednesday December 5, 2012. He was a member of the Cumberland Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church where he served as Head Deacon. He was a surgical technician working in hospitals in Massachusetts, Kentucky and Tennessee. He was born in Strongstown, PA on April 20, 1920 to Joseph and Bertha Patterson Ondrizek who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Ken Andrews, Herb and Roy Ondrizek. He is survived by his wife, Nellie Wilson Ondrizek; son, Walter A. Ondrizek of Pennsylvania; daughters, Karen (Robert) Templeton and Eileen (Russell) Thompson of Virginia and Maxine (Phil) Lang of North Carolina; sister, Lois McKnight, Altamont; brother, Clyde (Lettie) Ondrizek of Ohio; a host of loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 6:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeff Walper and Pastor Clyde Leeds officiating with private burial in the Cumberland Heights Memorial Gardens on Sunday morning.
