Obituary of Jean Hobbs McAmis

 Altamont, Tennessee – Ms. Jean Hobbs McAmis, 60, passed away Saturday March 30, 2019 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.  She was born in McMinnville, Tennessee on August 27, 1958.  She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde James McAmis; mother, Imogene Hobbs McAmis; brothers, Gary and James Lamar McAmis.

She is survived by her brother, Stan (Merla) McAmis, McMinnville; nephews, Raiden Buckner and Peyton McGee; niece, Makayla McGee. Step-mother, Shirley McAmis.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Ed Fults and Raiden Buckner officiating with burial to follow in the Fults Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
