 Palmer, Tennessee – Mr. J.C. Layman, 51, passed away Sunday April 7, 2019 at his home.  He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on September 30, 1967.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Layman; brother, David Allen “Big Al” Layman; niece, Alicia Layman.

He is survived by his mother, Elisie Griffith Layman; daughter, Kendra Layman; sons, Devin J. Layman and Trevor Vandergriff; sister, Linda Layman; brothers, John (Sherry) Layman, Bill (Andrea) Layman and James Layman; nieces, Desiree Lynn and Felicia Layman.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Brett Meeks and Charlie Shrum officiating with burial to follow in the J. C. Layman Cemetery.  Visitation: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM Wednesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
