Obituary of Lena Grace Farris

Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee – Mrs. Lena Grace Farris, 80, passed away Friday April 12, 2019 at her home.  She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on January 7, 1939 to Walter and Dona Cagle Brewer who preceded her in death along with her sisters, Ethel Birdwell, Wilette Birdwell and Mary Elizabeth Bryant; brothers, Grady and Clifford “Buck” Brewer.

She was a member of the Bivens Chapel KJV Congregational Methodist.

She is survived by her husband, George Farris; son, Barry W. (Angie) Farris; daughters, Michelle (Leslie) Burrows and Chandra (Jeff) Prater; sisters, Amy Lou Weaver, Leona Creighton, Tressie Mae Cleek and Jewell Curtis; 5 grandchildren, Jeremy (Alana) Burrows, Tamarah Farris, Chontae (Landon) McGee, Kevin Prater and Cain (Katie) Prater; 5 great grandchildren; a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Browns Chapel Cemetery with Ministers Danny Coffelt and Larry Campbell officiating.
